Community Solar
This project builds on the Solarize HSG Project 21' and aims to install more solar panels on the campus of the University of St. Gallen. So far, solar panels have been successfully installed on Building 23 and the Square. You can find out how much electricity it produces here. The students want to build on this success and realise further projects - this time by including the community in a crowdfunding for financing the next HSG solar roof. For the successful implementation, collaborative cooperation of the University and the Canton is required to guarantee a long-term and sustainable infrastructure of the University of St. Gallen.

#plane2train
The aim of the project is to raise awareness among students at the University of St.Gallen for low-carbon travel by train. To enable this the project team focuses on two objectives. Firstly, we create an awareness campaign on social media and on the HSG campus in order to confront students with the topic and give information and travel tips via several channels.
In parallel, HSG internal and external partnerships are being sought to raise awareness of the project and negotiate discounts and other offers. Interested? Learn more and follow us on Instagram #plane2train. Plane2train on Instagram |
Climate Curriculum
From Insight to impact - true to the motto of the University of St. Gallen, we want to ensure that tomorrow's generation is aware of their actions’ immense importance to the world. The next ten years are crucial to mitigate climate change. We want to create awareness about the matter and urgency in local schools and call for action through a Climate Day where students vividly learn about climate change facts and possible solutions to climate challenges. Furthermore, our goal is to implement an online course on climate change within the bachelor's degree at the University of St. Gallen, so that tomorrow's managers will make climate-conscious decisions.

Climate Art @HSG
We are convinced that many HSG members are artistically gifted in addition to their intellectual abilities. Therefore, the Managing Climate Solutions program and proArte from the University of St. Gallen, together with the support of the Art Commission, invite all HSG members to participate in the upcoming art competition. You can showcase your talent and make a climate-positive contribution at the same time. Ultimately, we thereby hope to expand the perception of HSG as a sustainable, open-minded, and progressive university.
