Solarizing HSG - sign up to invest!A lot of free roof space is available on the campus of the University of St.Gallen - some of this surface area is ideally suited for installing photovoltaic (PV) systems. Today, PV energy is already the cheapest way to produce additional electricity, making its expansion a clear WIN-WIN solution! That's why we want more of them on the campus!

VisionOur vision as MaCS students is to not only talk about theoretical concepts and create inconsequential powerpoints. The MaCS is different from other courses. We want to actively help shape the future of the University of St. Gallen with our ideas and concepts. In doing so, we would like to craft solutions which enable the university to make important steps towards becoming a sustainable place of learning and knowledge fit for the 21st century.

Prof. Dr. Judith Walls
Delegate "Responsibility and Sustainability" and co-leadership of the Climate Solutions Taskforce "One goal of the HSG sustainability strategy is to make sustainability more visible on campus while at the same time taking substantive action. The 'Solarize HSG' project is a great example of how to achieve that."
